Sam Tohill

Prior to joining Resonant Asset Management, Sam worked as a Portfolio Manager at Smartshares, one of New Zealand’s largest fund managers – and a member of the NZX Group. Sam was part of the team responsible for the management of Smartshares $4bn multi-asset portfolios.

In addition, Sam was responsible for the management and implementation of Smartshares currency hedging strategies, and was the portfolio manager responsible for $1bn in index tracking international equity portfolios employing both full replication and factor optimisation portfolio construction methods.​

Sam holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science from the University of Auckland and is a CFA charterholder.
