Jemma Mackenzie

Jemma is a Law Institute of Victoria Accredited Family Law Specialist and a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL). IAFL is a global association of lawyers recognised by their professional colleagues for their skill and experience. Jemma is routinely engaged to act in international matters including jurisdictional and forum disputes.

Jemma provides advice in relation to all aspects of family law, assisting clients to navigate a variety of legal issues including:

• Complex property disputes

• Third party matters

• Financial Agreements (prior to, during and post relationship)

• Children’s matters

• Matters involving family violence.

Jemma is recognised as a Recommended Leading Family & Divorce Lawyer (Melbourne) and Leading Parenting & Children’s Matters Lawyers (Victoria) in Doyle’s Guide to the Australian Legal Market for 2025.

Jemma routinely works closely with other professionals including financial advisors, accountants and estate planning practitioners.

Jemma is a member of the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the Law Institute of Victoria. She is also a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and for Victorian Women Lawyers.
