Paul Chapman

Paul moved to Perth from the UK after completing an honours degree in Pure Mathematics from Imperial College, London. He then worked in actuarial world for five years before moving to Sydney as Portfolio Manager, Fixed Income at AMP Investments. Paul then spent his time developing and fostering a financial advice practice with a partner and team of six staff for ten years before successfully selling the business. After taking a year off to enjoy the fruits of his labour, Paul moved to Melbourne and worked for Suncorp, where he enjoyed working closely with his sales team, fostering their growth and development, ultimately taking him down the path to create his own business, 925 Edge, a business that builds leadership and success within others and helps individuals and companies find their competitive edge. His clients include, MLC, National Mortgage Brokers, Liberty Bank, SLF Lawyers, and Box of Books.

Fil is a founding partner at Trellia Wealth Partners, formed from the merger of InvestSense (which he co-founded in 2014) with Betashares Managed Accounts. As a portfolio manager, Fil is part of the InvestSense Investment Committee and works with financial advisers to design and manage multi-asset investment portfolios.
Fil has over 25 years of experience in financial services in both Sydney and the UK. Prior to InvestSense, Fil was a Senior Asset Consultant at research house van Eyk where he was responsible for providing dealer groups and financial planners with asset allocation and portfolio construction advice. Prior to van Eyk, Fil worked in the UK across firms such as AXA Framlington, Northern Trust and Alliance Bernstein, in roles covering portfolio implementation and portfolio analysis. Fil was also an investment analyst at White Funds Management, a boutique funds management firm specialising in Australian equities based in Sydney.
Fil holds a Bachelor of Mathematics and Finance (Honours) from the University of Wollongong and is a CFA charter holder.

Rob is Chief Investment Officer at DR Capital, a Family Investment Office he joined in 2021. Prior to DR Capital Ro was a Partner at Viburnum Funds where he spent a decade working on the VF Strategic Equities Fund (Small Cap Activist Public Equities Fund). Rob has also held roles as Senior Investment Analyst at CP2 (Global Infrastructure Fund), Partner/Analyst for Pegasus Securities (Independent Institutional Equity Research), Portfolio Manager/Analyst for Attunga Capital (Hedge Fund Manager) and as an Equity Analyst for both State One Capital Group (Sell Side Equity Research) and Oasis Asset Management (Global Fund Manager). Rob holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Finance Hons) from the University of Cape Town and is a CFA charter holder. Rob is a past President and Director of CFA Society Perth. Adam is a fund manager within the Multi-Asset and Fixed Income team and has lead portfolio management responsibility for the Schroder Absolute Return Income Fund. Adam also has co-portfolio management responsibilities across multi-asset and fixed income strategies including the Schroder Real Return Fund and the Schroder Fixed Income Fund. He has extensive portfolio management experience initially at Queensland Investment Corporation, followed by 18 years at Macquarie Investment Management, where he was the lead portfolio manager across global fixed income, currency and commodity strategies. Adam joined Schroders in 2020 and is a member of our Foreign Currency and Rates strategy research groups. Adam has a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance from the University of NSW and is a CAIA Charterholder.

Prior to joining Resonant Asset Management, Sam worked as a Portfolio Manager at Smartshares, one of New Zealand’s largest fund managers – and a member of the NZX Group. Sam was part of the team responsible for the management of Smartshares $4bn multi-asset portfolios.
In addition, Sam was responsible for the management and implementation of Smartshares currency hedging strategies, and was the portfolio manager responsible for $1bn in index tracking international equity portfolios employing both full replication and factor optimisation portfolio construction methods.
Sam holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science from the University of Auckland and is a CFA charterholder.

Stephen Arnold

Stephen has been investing in offshore markets for 30 years, making him one of Australia’s most experienced international investors.
Before founding Aoris Investment Management in 2017, Stephen was Head of International Equities at Evans & Partners. He directly managed $1bn of client assets and over six and a half years generated investment returns that were in the top decile of a broad peer group of international funds.
Stephen spent the period of 1999 to 2018 in London, most of which was with Goldman Sachs Asset Management where he held a senior role in a small team managing an ~$5bn concentrated global equity portfolio.
Stephen was at Platinum Asset Management early 1994 to late 1997 covering US equities. He began his career at Bankers Trust Australia where he was part of the domestic equities investment team.
Stephen holds a Bachelor of Business from UTS, and is a CFA charterholder.

Chia-Wen (CW) Teoh is a Senior Vice President, based in the Hong Kong office. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2022, CW was senior vice president and real estate product specialist at Macquarie Asset Management, responsible for development and distribution of private markets real estate products to Asia-based clients. Previously, he was an executive director in UBS Investment Bank’s real estate, lodging, and leisure team, and vice-president in Macquarie Capital’s real estate investment banking team, focusing on corporate client advisory in Asia. He has 18 years of investment and financial services experience and holds undergraduate degrees in economics and chemical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.

Chris founded Longview Economics in 2003. It is an independent advisory business specialising in Global Asset Allocation, Investment Advice, Cyclical and Thematic Global Macro & Fundamental Commodity research. The company also generates regular trading advice on equity index, and other, futures.
Prior to founding Longview Economics, Chris worked in the City of London for 12 years with Cazenove and CAI Cheuvreux as a global economist and strategist. He also held roles as an Equity Analyst and Corporate Financier at Cazenove in the mid 1990s. Chris qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and holds Master’s & Bachelor’s degrees in Economics. He regularly chairs & speaks at global investment conferences, is often quoted in the financial press and appears frequently on CNBC, Bloomberg, CNN & other media outlets. He is also an Ambassador for WeSeeHope – a charity which is about the generation of hope and which supports children and young people in sub-Saharan Africa affected by HIV/AIDS.

She has over 15 years of industry experience covering financial markets, investments, risk and insurance in both consulting and in-house capacities across Sydney, London and Hong Kong. Her experience spans across all stages of the investment process including risk budgeting, strategic asset allocation and asset liability management, portfolio construction, asset modelling, investment implementation and investment performance.

Danielle is a former Commissioner of ASIC and seasoned financial services professional. Her leadership experience includes being CEO of the Myer Family Company and Equip Super. Prior to that Danielle worked at UBS for 17 years in a range of roles focused on investment, risk management and client solutions in Australia, Singapore and Chicago. She is also the founder of Loki’s Lodge, a sanctuary based in Central Victoria dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of animals.

Ross is the Portfolio Manager of the Roc Summit Private Equity Fund, Roc Partners’ flagship Australian open-ended private equity fund. He is responsible for investor engagement, portfolio management, and the full lifecycle of private equity investments – including deal origination, due diligence, execution, and portfolio company oversight.
With over 25 years of experience in the investment industry, Ross brings deep expertise in private markets and a long-standing commitment to responsible and impact investing. He has worked closely with Roc Partners for more than 15 years to design and implement tailored private equity mandates for some of Australia’s largest industry superannuation funds.
Prior to joining Roc, Ross was the CIO of Spirit Super, overseeing investment strategy following the merger of MTAA Super and Tasplan Super. He has also held senior roles at First State Super (now Aware Super) and Watson Wyatt Australia, advising and managing portfolios across asset allocation, direct investments, ESG, and risk.
Ross holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) and a PhD in Applied Finance from Macquarie University. He has been a key figure in the development of Australia’s infrastructure and private equity sectors where he was an Independent Director of the Palisade Diversified Infrastructure Fund.

Kieran is Head of Transaction Strategy for MAM’s Real Assets division in the Asia-Pacific region as well as an Investment Committee member and lead portfolio manager for the Macquarie Private Infrastructure Fund. Further, Kieran has over 25 years of experience at Macquarie and was previously the Head of the Macquarie Australian Infrastructure Trust. He also currently serves on several boards, including Endeavour Energy, Safeway Concessions and Enfi Environmental.
Kieran joined Macquarie in its Infrastructure and Principal Investments Group and has worked on infrastructure transactions in Sydney as well as various other locations, including London, Hong Kong, Dubai, Singapore, Mumbai, Guangzhou, Manila, Madrid, Seoul, and Auckland. Throughout this time, Kieran has also been a Director of a wide range of companies, across sectors that include toll roads, water treatment, oil storage, railroads, electricity distribution, mobile phone towers, marine transport, and aged care.
He received a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) and a Bachelor of Laws from Monash University. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from the Securities Institute of Australia and was admitted as a Solicitor and Barrister in the Supreme Court of Victoria.
